After a resounding success of i10, Laxmi Intercontinental, the sole authorised distributor of Hyundai automobiles in Nepal, unveiled the much-awaited Grand i10 car on Tuesday. The new offering from the company is a full-fledged package blended with performance, style, space, fuel efficiency, and safety features. The company expects the vehicle to fill the gaps between the i10 and i20.
The new hatchback comes with a 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine which delivers power of 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 11.6 kgm at 4,000 rpm of peak torque. The engine has been mated with five-speed manual and automatic transmission system. It has been certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) as having the best-in-class mileage at 18.9 kmpl.
