Given that the exchange of good wishes continues till late on the day, NT
anticipates the
actual volume of SMS exchanged could be still higher. In a bid to facilitate the subscribers,
NT had halved the rate of each SMS to 50 paisa on Thursday and Friday. The rate was
exclusive of VAT and other service charges.
